Children

Children and young people are an essential part of our Church community and are welcome at any service.

On the 1st Sunday each month we have an All Age service in which the children and young people take an active part and remain in the church.

On each remaining Sunday in the month, children are invited to participate in Children's Church (0-8s) / Youth Church (9+), with activities and opportunities to dive deeper into faith catered to specific ages. We gather as a part of the church community and leave for around 30 minutes, returning in time for communion.

Play & Pray Tuesdays 10–11.30am

Pray & Play offers a relaxed space for free play with different play zones, and plenty of tea and coffee for the adults! We will finish each gathering in the Lady Chapel with songs, stories, and a prayer.

All pre-school children with their parents and carers are welcome! There is a suggested donation of £2 per session.

Songs & Stories Wednesdays 10–11.30am

Songs and Stories is a fun and exciting place to be! Parents and children are led through a series of action songs, have a break to share fruit, before story time and bubbles. The cost per family is £2, but this may be waived in cases of need. New people are welcomed nearly every week. The sessions are attended largely by people with no other connection to St Andrew’s church.
