Fr Will from Sawston visited the coffee morning today and collected the large number of candles that had been collected for Ukraine. They filled the boot and half the back seat of his car. These will be taken to a charity in South London where the used candles will be melted down and turned into new candles. These, plus the new candles that were donated will be sent to Ukraine for those who have no power to light their homes. Some will be sent to the front line where soldiers fighting in the trenches will use them to keep frost-bite away. Thank you to everyone who donated.
