St Bride’s is the Church of England’s Parish Church for the University and Canning area of Liverpool. We are committed to a vision of faith which is creative in worship, progressive in thought and inclusive of everyone. We’re offering something radically different from most mainstream churches. Come and join us!
We are open again after lockdown, and meet for worship every Sunday at 10am except on the last Sunday of the month which is a joint service rotating around the churches in our team. In December this means that the Boxing Day service will be at St Michael in the City at 11.15am. In January the last Sunday service will be here at St Bride's.
Weddings, Christenings and Funerals are currently being hosted at our sister church St Dunstan's, which is spacious church with good ventilation, so please do get in touch if you would like to arrange one of these.
The parish of St. Luke in the City Team is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Liverpool’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
