Foleshill St. Paul is a vibrant, friendly and active Church in the heart of inner-city Coventry. St Paul's has a faithful congregation made up of Christians from all over the world. Regular services include readings in Punjabi and special services often include hymns and songs of praise from around the world. The Church is active in its support for Christians in other communities and has a strong link with Gitega, Burundi.
The Church buildings were originally consecrated in 1842, but the Church was firebombed the same night as Coventry Cathedral, 14th November 1940. Only the Tower and Exterior walls were left standing. In 1942 the adjacent Sunday School Buildings were destroyed by bombing. The modern edifice of St Pauls was designed by Sir Charles Nicholson and completed in 1956.
The Vicar is Revd. Alison Hogger Gadsby
