St Giles in the Fields is delighted to welcome The Revd Maj Christopher Trundle, priest-in-charge of Our Most Holy Redeemer in Clerkenwell. Christopher was born and brought up in Scotland before spending five years at university at Trinity College, Cambridge. He trained for ordination at the College of the Resurrection, Mirfield and was ordained to serve in the Parish of S. Paul’s, Tottenham in 2010. He also served as curate in the parish of S. Gabriel’s, Pimlico before being appointed Priest-in-Charge of Holy Redeemer. Fr Christopher was licensed and installed in November, 2013, and became Vicar in July, 2014. He is also Vicar of S. Mark’s, Clerkenwell a chaplain in the Army Reserve.

We offer worship which is reverent, traditional, dignified and uplifting, all within the ethos of the Anglican tradition and drawn from the Book of Common Prayer and the Authorised Version of the Bible. Our worship draws on the richness of the Christian tradition of language and music to identify ourselves with the past generation of worshippers, to pray for the world and our local community and to look to the future with hope.
