Save the date – 12 July 2026

As you may have read in the notices a little while ago, Archdeacon Peter Hooper, who serves the chaplaincies in France, Switzerland and Monaco, is leaving his role and moving to a new post in England. I’m delighted to announce that he will pay a final visit to us at St Luke’s on Sunday July 12th. I understand from Peter that the first chaplaincy in France he visited on becoming Archdeacon was Fontainebleau, and this upcoming visit will be the last chaplaincy visit he makes before leaving, so he feels it is especially fitting. We plan to have a celebratory lunch for Peter after the service - more details in due course. For now, please save the date and come and thank this friend of St Luke’s for all he’s done to help the church.

Church Council meeting – 06 June 2026

Please pray for the Council as they meet on Saturday June 6th, that together they may discern God’s purposes for St Luke’s and make good decisions - and enjoy fellowship as they do so.

Men’s Breakfast – 20 June 2026

Our next breakfast will be on Saturday June 20th at 10am at Donald and Netta’s apartment, 2 rue des Bois, Fontainebleau. Please drop Donald a line to let him know you’ll be there ([email protected]), so he can make sure there are enough croissants to enjoy over fine coffee.

Leading Intercessions

Our prayers on a Sunday morning are an important and integral part of our worship. We have a rota for our Intercessions which is separate from the other sign-up rota.
