Dear Friends,

We will have this coming Sunday our Holy Cross Day service. This will be a Service of the Word service, and it will be led by the Reverend Dr Donald McFadyen, our chaplain. The service sheet is attached.

This Sunday is known as Holy Cross Day, when we celebrate the Cross as the sign of salvation. As part of our worship on this important day, you are invited to bring to the service a Cross which is meaningful to you. It might be one which you wear, or which hangs as a picture in your house, or which stands on a shelf. During the service there will be the opportunity to place our crosses on the altar table, as we thank God for what he has done for us in Christ.

Please note that due to renovation work at our Chapel site, all services will take place at Eglise Saint-Éloi in Arbonne-la-Forêt until Sunday November 2nd, 2025.

You are most welcome at Saint-Luke's, do not hesitate to invite your family and friends!

Love in Christ.

Safeguarding

The protection from harm of children, young persons and adults who may be vulnerable is of paramount importance to St. Luke’s. The chaplaincy council is committed to upholding the requirements and best practices of the Diocese in Europe Safeguarding Policy and Protocol and has therefore adopted the Chaplaincy Safeguarding Protocol proposed by the diocese. Our chaplaincy safeguarding protocol can be consulted on the noticeboard at the back of the chapel or by clicking on the link "St. Luke’s Safeguarding Protocol" that you will find in the "Chaplaincy Safeguarding Policy" section.

Further information is available on the Diocesan website.
