St John the Baptist

St John’s is a small parish church serving the community of Winnall and East Winchester. We are a friendly and welcoming congregation holding a regular parish eucharist each Sunday, blending traditional and contemporary worship.

We look forward to welcoming you to one of services or if you are wanting to celebrate a Life Event.

The church is Grade 1 listed, with parts of the building dating to the early 13th century and described by John Betjemen as ‘a gem’! It is outstanding for its wealth of medieval features of different dates and we are dedicated to its upkeep.
