Ash Wednesday Mass with Blessing & Imposition of Ashes

To mark Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent, in addition to the usual 12.30pm mass (which will also include the blessing and imposition of ashes), there will be a said mass with blessing & imposition of ashes at 6pm. We hope this enables people to be in church for the beginning of Lent who may be at work in the day but busy later in the evening. There is also a sung mass at 7.30pm.

Saint Peter's is the parish church for the parish of Swinton and Pendlebury. There are also two district churches working as part of our parish, All Saints', Wardley, and Saint Augustine's, Pendlebury.
