Vision Statement

“Together in these villages we offer Christ’s healing grace through our worship and service.”

2 Chronicles 7:14

14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Context: God appears to Solomon and talks to him about worship in the newly completed Temple.

Ephesians 2:8,9

8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith— and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—

9 not by works, so that no-one can boast.

Context: We are made alive in Christ, who unites us all as one.

“Together in these villages we offer Christ's healing grace through worship and service."

Together —every single person in the community, as far as possible

Villages — the people who live in these villages

Christ's grace — offering His unconditional love through physical, emotional, and psychological healing, to those we don't like as well as those we find it easy to like.

Worship - individual, flexible worship, from the structured and formal to the freer forms of service which offer a safe, supportive and loving environment. Worship is to be understood as how you live your daily life as well as what goes on in church buildings.

Service — Helping and supporting others, praying for them, listening to God in seeking His will for the wider community not just the church family.
