About Us
St James' Church Sheldwich is situated on the A251 just a couple of miles outside of Faversham; the building is an impressive sight across the fields with two lychgates a rambling churchyard and ample car parking. Used by the local primary school, parish council, a mother and baby group it is well situated to offer community space having had various improvements made to facilities in recent years.
The church building is open from Easter to late September in the daytime and you will find space to be prayerful (place your own prayers in our prayer box), and to acquaint yourself with local history and activities.
Our worshipping community meet every Sunday at 10am, offering a variety of services with Breakfast Church (1st Sunday). As the name implies this includes toast and other food. Holy Communion (Common Worship) (2nd & 4th Sundays) and Morning Worship (3rd Sunday).
We are part of the Shepherds Lees benefice.
You are always welcome...there is always something going on in or around the church!
