Getting here
St James Church Sheldwich is situated on the A251 just a couple of miles outside of Faversham. You can't miss us, we're the church with the tower which sits in the valley as you round the bend from North Street. The building is also an impressive sight across the fields. It has a large churchyard which is popular with visitors and forms the beginning of a walking route. Our church is used by community groups including the local primary school and the parish council.
The church building is open every day and you will find space to be prayerful (place your own prayers in our prayer box), or enjoy our help yourself refreshments.
Our worshipping community meet on the second Sunday each month at 11am for Morning Worship and the Benefice Holy Communion service on the third Sunday at 9.30am. Services are always followed by a fellowship time for chat and refreshments where we enjoy a cuppa and a biscuit or cake.
You are always welcome...there is always something going on in or around the church!
