Evensong happens most weeks of the year with the Lancaster Priory choir. However out of term time we say a Book of Common Prayer evening Prayer, sometimes with hymns. On the Second Sunday of each month there is a Taize service after Choral Evensong at 6.30pm

Taizé service is a distinctive style of meditative prayer developed by an ecumenical community of monks in France. This quiet, moving reflective prayer combines elements of the Church's traditional Liturgy with elements of contemplative meditation. We incorporate periods of silence with meditative readings, prayers and intercession, and the frequent repetition of short songs or chants, creating a meditative environment and prayerful space in which we can relax and connect deeply with God.

Morning Prayers in St Thomas' Chapel

Holy Communion at 10.15am
followed by Tuesday Fellowship group

Join with our team developing mission and ministry in this part of our Parish at St Thomas More from 9.10am. We say a simple office, have some extemporary prayer and sometimes have time for a brew afterwards.

This 40 minute quiet service of Holy Communion includes the gift of prayer and anointing for healing. You may want to come and offer yourself for this ministry or you may bring someone else for whom you are concerned and we will pray with you by proxy for them. We do not ask you to disclose any more information than a first name.

The service is a common worship, modern language service. It also includes 2 readings from scripture and a simple litany.

All our services are family friendly services, your children are most welcome, we have a Young Church every Sunday. Our Service alternates between choral service sung by our Priory Choir, and Congregational sung service.
