Our 4pm service is a relaxed, contemporary gathering for all ages — a place to worship, connect, and encounter God together.

There’s provision for children and youth of all ages, and we love including a few all-age songs so everyone can join in. We always make space to meet with God and hear from His word.

StJ Youth also meets during the 4pm service, making it the perfect time for the whole family to get involved.

After the service, stick around — there’s usually pizza or bagels and plenty of time to hang out and chat.

St James in the City is a new Anglican Church developing a fresh model of church in response to a modern city culture.

The parish of St. James in the City is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, PSO. The Diocese of Liverpool’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs.
