A contemplative service at midday, followed by sharing a packed lunch and chat together.

The church is open for tea coffee chat (Space to Be) every wednesday, including a short led service of Midday Prayer.

St John’s popular Community Christmas Tree Festival will take place again this year.

FREE entrance but donations are welcome to support the work of Newbury Soup Kitchen, and there will be a Raffle.

Approximately 30 trees with lights, decorated by uniformed groups, schools, local shops and organisations will light the interior of the church – a magical sight.

The combined choirs of St John’s and St George’s join together to lead a traditional carol service.

All welcome.

11.00pm for carols. Service begins at 11.30pm.

Celebrate the first Eucharist of Christmas, with hymns and joy as we mark birth of Christ.

We will be celebrating the birth of Christ with great joy on Christmas morning.

Everyone is welcome to join this half-hour gathering for mainly silent prayer and contemplation.
