Bio:
Paul Greally (b.2001) is the Assistant Organist at Westminster Abbey. In this role, he works alongside the Sub-Organist and Organ Scholar in playing for services in the Abbey, assisting with conducting the Abbey Choir, and with training the choristers. He studies with David Titterington at the Royal Academy of Music for the MA in Organ Performance, and is supported by the Countess of Munster Musical Trust.
He became a prize-winning Fellow of the Royal College of Organists as a teenager, and read Music at King's College, Cambridge, where he was the organ scholar for four years. During this time he performed regularly on TV and live radio, including for Carols from King’s and A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols, which were broadcast worldwide, and at venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), and Sydney Opera House. He graduated with a BA (starred double first) and an MPhil (distinction), gaining the highest marks in his cohort for both degrees. In his final year, he was the Musical Director for the King’s Men, the close-harmony group of King’s College Choir’s adult singers.
