About Us

St Mary's Little Blakenham is a Grade I listed church building set in tranquil and picturesque rural setting.  Although we generally keep the church closed in late autumn and winter it is open in the late spring and summer 11am til dusk outside these times access may be requested by contacting the Church Secretary. We welcome all visitors to our historic village church.

We are always looking for new members to join the Parochial Church Council who are custodians of the church. You are not required to be of faith just have passion in keeping our historic building alive and open to the community and visitors.

We also welcome volunteers who would like to help us organise and take part in our events, maintaining the churchyard or maybe you have a trade such as a builder, electrician, or maintenance skills such as cleaning gutters and downpipes to offer in order to help us maintain the building?

We are linked with Bramford, Nettlestead and Baylham, if we do not have a Sunday service here on the week you would like to attend , please check on our sister parishes websites for information of Service times.
