Evening Prayer

Monthly. Every Fourth Sunday at for 1 hour

Our regular evening prayer. In the summer between May and September the service is at 6pm. In the winter the service is held at 3pm (October to April) so we can get home before it gets dark.

Service time is 6pm April to September and 3pm October to March

Bell ringing

Our church tower contains 9 bells and we have an active bell ringing group that meets to practice every Tuesday 7.30pm - 9pm. If you would like to join contact the Bell Captain, Brian Whiting email: [email protected].

Offton Church fete

St Mary's Church fete will take place on 6 June 2026 in the churchyard. Teas, cakes, music from St Peter's Community band, games, raffle, tombola, hot dogs, plant stall and books. Please come along from 1.30 to 4.30pm.

Help Build a Bug Hotel for the Churchyard

Inspired by Caring for God's Acre and Love your Burial ground, this year instead of counting the plant and animal species in the churchyard we are going to build a bug hotel to try to encourage more species for counting next year! Come and help on 14 June 2026 after the 9.30am Family service (so starting just after 10am). Bring gardening gloves, and any small flower pots, cardboard tubes, straw etc to help fill in our pallets.
