God listens to our prayers wherever we are, but sometimes we feel the need to visit a church. Responding to the awful events of Monday, All Saints Church Kesgrave will be opening between 10am-1pm this Friday 11th September for quiet prayer.Sitting quietly in church always calms my heart, there’s a special sense of peace in the quiet stillness, and whilst I pray everywhere and anywhere, sometimes being in church is what my heart needs. All Saints is our parish church, it is there for our community. If you have never visited before, if you have never visited any church before, know you are always welcome.A minister will be available should you wish to talk, or you can simply sit in peace, with your thoughts and prayers.
A prayer for our Year 11 student. Kesgrave we are a wonderful community, let us put our hands together and pray for this young lad. Dear Lord, today we pray together for our Year 11 student at Kesgrave High School who was so badly harmed on his way to school yesterday. Be with him, wrap your loving arms around him, give him strength. Loving Lord, we pray that you will guide the doctors and nurses caring for this young boy. Grant them wisdom to do what is best for him, skill and gentleness in their touch, and surround all with Your love.Dear Lord, be with this student’s family and friends, and with students, teaching staff and neighbours. In your mercy, bring love and healing where there is shock, fear and confusion. AmenIf you would like to speak to a minister please contact Rev Gary Jones on 07714 614095.All Saints Church Kesgrave
