“Unless the Lord builds the house

Those who build it labour in vain.”

Psalm 127

A church exists because people make efforts and journeys both outwardly and inwardly: practical maintenance, prayer, finance, prayer, creativity, prayer and thanksgiving, admin work, (much prayer!) services for different ages and entertainment like Silver Film, to name just a few.

As we move towards the end of this year and look forward to the next: thank you, whatever your contribution is.

All methods of Giving remain available, but the Church website has been updated with two Donate Buttons: a Green button for General Giving and a Blue button for supporting the Lighting Project, so please see the website link for all other details and the updates on the improved Parish Giving Scheme: You can now set up a Direct Debit for the PGS without having to contact anyone at the church first.

Also, most importantly, if you are experiencing financial hardship or mounting debts please seek help through organisations like Stepchange

or Christians Against Poverty

Thank you for supporting the work of All Saints Kesgrave

Sally Wainman (Local Giving Advisor)

The Parish Giving Scheme (PGS) website has come on by leaps and bounds and it is now possible to log onto:

then search for the church you want to support (hopefully All Saints Kesgrave!) and set up an online Direct Debit donation straightaway. (If you are wanting to donate as a couple then it may be easier if just one person signs up, as the Gift Aid option, for example, can only apply to individuals.

The other sign-up options are still available: telephone applications and paper forms (from me). The original packs that I was sent will not be valid after March 2021 but I can print off ASK-specific forms for anyone who would like them.

The information needed is the name of the church, the Parish Code

330633093 and the Diocese (St Eds and Ips) but all this is on the website.

If you have any queries at all please contact me or log onto their website; the PGS offers both Gift Aid and “Inflation-proofed” options (and both are entirely optional!)

Thank you

If you buy goods or services online, please look into signing up for Give-As-You-Live and Amazon Smile . They make a real difference to us, as each time you buy something online the company you buy from donates to us, without costing you anything! The amount that companies donate to us varies widely from 0.5% of your spend to as high as 10% on special days so it really is worth doing! Give-As-You-Live works at most online stores, utilities, and services (e.g. Hughes,, BT, Sky, ...), and is very easy to use as once registered you simply shop as normal. When using Amazon, it's best to use instead of (it works the same way as Amazon). For both services, when prompted to select your charity, choose "Kesgrave Church of England Charity" to support our youth work, or "Kesgrave Parish Church Trust " to support our general work. Please sign up for both services if you are able. With thanks in anticipation!

For anyone that performs web-searchers or shops online from Amazon, eBay, John Lewis, Tesco, Sainsbury’s and many other subscribing retailers, there’s a new way you can give more to All Saints Church without it costing you a penny! Simply register with and perform your web searches or shop via their page. 1%-1.5% of the value of purchases then come to All Saints, and every few web searches raise 1p (it soon adds up!). This works on computers or smart-phones.

When choosing your Charity, we suggest you choose our “Kesgrave Church of England Charity”, which means that funds can be used for regular costs such as youth worker and parish administrator. If you choose instead the “Parish Trust” the money instead goes into a permanent endowment where only the interest can be used by All Saints.

If you use the web please give this a try- it’s so easy and every little makes a difference! Many thanks for your help.
