Bacton, St Mary the Virgin
Welcome to St Mary the Virgin, Bacton, Suffolk. The building of St Mary's dates from the 14th and 15th century and provides a place of Christian worship and fellowship. We gather here as a warm and welcoming community and would love you to join us on our journey of friendship for those in need of comfort, love, help and support.

1st Sunday - Family service

4th Sunday - All age Communion
We are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of St.Edmundsbury & Ipswich’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. Wyverstone, St George
A small but warm and welcoming church, in the heart of the village and is usually open for visitors every day.

Cotton, St Andrew
The church is usually opened for visitors on a Friday (10am to 4pm or dusk) on other days it is usually locked. If you plan to visit this church, please give us a call so we can arrange for the church to be open.

Old Newton, St Mary
Set on the edge of the village, you have to make a small climb to reach us; but it's well worth it; there is always a welcome to all here.
There is limited off-road parking, but usually plenty of room along the verge as well.
Sunday Services
Services in church are resuming on December 5th 2020. Please see the Services page for more details. In addition there are services every Sunday that are live-streamed through Facebook. You do not need a Facebook account to access the services. When asked to sign up choose 'not now' then choose the Bacton Benefice page. The services are led by our Benefice Rector Revd Carl Melville and take place at 10:30 (Holy Communion) and 6:00 (Evening Prayer).

St Andrew's, Wickham Skeith
We are set just outside the village, down a small track that can be difficult to spot. Follow the village sign to find us.
We have a service every Sunday at 9.30am.
1st Sunday - All Age Communion
2nd Sunday - Cafe Church
3rd Sunday - Holy Communion
4th Sunday - Family Service
5th Sunday - Benefice service (venue, see Facebook)All are welcome! All our service times can be found on our Facebook page @bactonbenefice.
Our church is equipped with a toilet and small kitchen, so we can serve refreshments after the service. We also have a contactless device for card payments.
