With deep sadness, we remember and give thanks to God for the life of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, and offer our prayers and condolences on the occasion of her death. We believe she now lives eternally with Christ, the King of Kings, her Lord and Saviour, in whom she placed her faith and hope throughout her life.

From today, all the churches of our benefice* will be open during daylight hours for anyone who would like to sit in quietness to pray or reflect. Books of Condolence will also be available for people to leave a message.This evening at 7pm, there will be a a short service of prayer and reflection at St Mary's church Grundisburgh to which everyone is welcome.On Sunday 11th September, in addition to our usual Sunday services**, at 3pm there will be a reflective service for families with younger children in place of the planned Messy Church andat 6pm there will be a special Evensong at St Mary's Grundisburgh.For those unable to attend church, there is an online book of condolence herehttps://www.churchofengland.org/remembering-her-majesty-queen
