St John’s is a friendly evangelical church that serves the village of Elmswell in Suffolk. Our aim is to know Christ and make him known as we serve our community. Our worship is varied, but reveals our reliance on the Bible as the Word of God and our trust in the Holy Spirit.

You're very welcome to come along and meet us on a Sunday morning - whoever you are and whatever your age, you'll receive a warm welcome! For more details on what happens on a Sunday, check out our services page.

Our main web site gives lots more information about who we are and what we offer.  Why not also check out facebook?

"The parish of Elmswell: St John the Divine is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of St.Edmundsbury & Ipswich’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
