As a Parish within the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich we take our Safeguarding responsibilities very seriously and are committed to implementing the House of Bishops safeguarding policies and good practice guidance.

All of our leaders and children's work volunteers go through a process of safer recruitment which includes a DBS screening and regular updates to their safeguarding training in line with the national safeguarding training.

Safeguarding lead for Rattlesden is the Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO) Debbie Wildridge. She can be contacted on 07703 814581. The PSO is part of a benefice wide safeguarding team
