Flower Festival with Trash & Treasure Stalls

Occurring
for 2 days, 7 hours
Venue
St Bartholomew's, Groton
Address
Church Street Groton, Sudbury Sudbury, CO10 5ED, United Kingdom

On 23rd, 24th & 25th of August we will be holding a Flower Festival with Trash & Treasure Stalls. Flower arrangements will reflect bible parables in the context of the world today.

On Saturday 23rd there will be a Flower Demonstration from 6:45 pm until 7:45 pm. Pimms and other refreshments will be included in the £10 ticket price for the evening. Please book this event through Liz ([email protected]) or Jayne 01787 211360.

On Saturday hopefully lots of you will want to sell your unwanted Treasures or maybe Trash (one person’s Trash is another’s Treasure). Book table space (£10 for the day) by contacting Liz or Jayne. Madrigalia have kindly agreed to sing in the Church on either Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

A ‘Winthrop Talk and Walks’ will be scheduled to take place throughout the weekend. We will of course have a raffle and a treasure hunt. Refreshments will be available in the church throughout the weekend. Please come and support us to help maintain this wonderful church.

Any offers of help with the event would be much appreciated. We look forward to welcoming you to St. Bartholomew’s.

Safeguarding

Our parishes of Boxford, Edwardstone, Groton, Little Waldingfield and Newton are committed to safeguarding children, young people, and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Safeguarding Officer. Our Diocese of St. Edmundsbury & Ipswich’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Officer who advises our parish Safeguarding Officer. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm, please contact the parish Safeguarding Officer, Tom Bowen 07588 871220 or [email protected], or the Diocesan Safeguarding Officer, Karen Galloway 07785 621319 or [email protected].

If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
