Our services

We have a service at 10.30am every Sunday except on the 4th Sunday in the month. Our regular pattern of services is :

1st Sunday: Celtic Morning Prayer. This is led by a team of church members and uses the liturgy produced by the Northumbria Community.

2nd Sunday: Holy Communion using the order of service in Common Worship.

3rd Sunday: Morning Worship: an informal service led by a team of church members. 

4th Sunday: an informal time of worship at 6pm in Hartismere House (Noyes Avenue), our village sheltered housing. 

5th Sunday: see the events page for details of services.

There are occasional benefice services, particularly on the rural festivals. Again please see the events page for details.

We have occasional special services throughthe year (see our Services and Events page), the biggest of which is our carol service on Christmas Eve.

There is also a Benefice-wide service of Celtic Morning Prayer on a Friday morning at 9am and Celtic Evening Prayer on a Wednesday evening at 7pm. Both of these are on Zoom. To join in please email Revd Chrissie Smart using the Get in Touch page.
