St Nicholas, Bedfield

Bedfield is one of the churches of the Four Rivers Benefice, with Brundish, Cratfield, Laxfield, Monk Soham, Wilby and  Worlingworth cum Southolt. We hold short weekly services online on Zoom. For all scheduled services and events, please see our news and notices and one off events pages.

St Nicholas is a medieval church over 900 years old which has undergone extensive restoration work over the last 20 years.

There are usually three Sunday services each month with additional services during Lent and Easter starting with Ash Wednesday. Lammas, Rogation, Harvest, Advent carols by candlelight and our patronal festival, together with a pet service, are just some of the services offered during the year.

Do you find it difficult to even think about death, dying and funerals – let alone talk about it? GraveTalk is a gentle and comfortable start to these conversations – and also, for some, fun too.
GraveTalk is a café space, where people can talk about these big events in our lives. The conversations can be helped along by GraveTalk conversation cards; easy questions to start thinking about how to start conversations; join with others and hear their ideas too.
And tea/coffee cake and goodies help the conversation along!
Everyone is welcome.
Sancroft Hall, Fressingfield, Tuesday 19th May 2026, commencing 3pm.
Please RSVP (to ensure enough cake!) to Revd Maria: email [email protected] or text 07759 298824.
