For one day only, St Hilary Church will be transformed into a winter wonderland where you can enjoy delicious food and purchase crafts and Christmas gifts from our commercial and local stallholders. Last year's event was a huge success: come and help make this year's even better!

St Hilary

Welcome to St Hilary Church.  We are an open, inclusive church in the modern liberal catholic tradition.

Our lovely building is generally open during the day (from 10.00am - dusk) and visitors are very welcome.  We also offer a warm welcome at our services, which are generally Sundays at 9.30am for a Sung Eucharist and Wednesdays at 10.00am for a Said Eucharist, both of which are followed by refreshments.

Safeguarding

Our parish of St Hilary is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Truro’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO, Ed Oates ([email protected]) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
