Getting here
St Mary Magdelene church dates from the eleventh century, and stands proudly overlooking the fields looking down to the Thame river below.
Its particular features of a wide single aisle, stout tower and light and welcoming atmosphere have impressed parishioners and visitors over the centuries.
Our active parishioners and villagers have contributed to recent installations of a beautiful small pipe organ, the restoration of our peal of six bells and a small kitchen and toilet..
Our vicar is Rev David Kaboleh, who lives in the Rectory in the nearby village of Worminghall.
We maintain a service on every Sunday of the month, and we look forward to welcoming you.
Each Wednesday morning Cafe Shabbs opens at 10.30 until 12 with an array of delicious cakes, tea and coffee.
Our beautiful church also hosts concerts and village gatherings.
