About us

Truro is a beautiful city in the middle of Cornwall which is situated in the extreme southwest of the United Kingdom. The city has a population of about 20,000 and has a cathedral which was built in 1877, when the diocese was split from the neighbouring diocese of Exeter. We are fortunate to have easy access to the beaches of Cornwall where there is excellent surfing!

All Saints Highertown is a new church (built in 1980) on the outskirts of Truro. Before this present church was built there was an older church on this site.

We are in the diocese of Truro and the parish was divided from the neighbouring Kenwyn parish in 1984 with the addition of the parish of Baldhu and has a current population of almost 6,000.

Within the parish we have four junior schools, a secondary school and the sixth-form College. We also have County Hall and Treliske Hospital within the parish boundaries.
