On Sunday 29th January 2023 we welcomed the Rev Shona Hoad for her Licensing and Inauguration as Priest in Charge of the benefice of Tywardreath and Golant (St. Sampson).The service was conducted by the Rt. Rev'd Philip Mounstephen, Bishop of Truro, and the Venerable Kelly Betteridge, Archdeacon of Bodmin.The service was very well attended and included congregants from Rev Shona's previous diocese.Hymns sung during the service included 'Be Still, For The Presence Of The Lord' and 'Great Is Thy Faithfulness'.To conclude the occasion a celebration tea was held in the Village Hall.
