Ascension Day Service – Thursday 14 May at 10am
St Bartholomew’s, Lostwithiel

You are warmly invited to join us at St Bartholomew’s on Thursday 14 May at 10am for our Ascension Day service. Ascension is a joyful feast, lifting our eyes and hearts as we remember Christ’s rising to glory and the promise of the Spirit yet to come.

After the service we’ll share refreshments (and cake!), so please do stay for a chat and a moment of fellowship.

All are welcome — whether Ascension Day is a familiar celebration or something new, you’ll find a gentle, prayerful service and a warm community to share it with.

St Veep [St Cyricius and St Julitta]

Welcome to St Veep – we’re glad you’re here.

Our church is a friendly place at the heart of the community, and everyone is welcome at any of our gatherings, whether you’ve been to church many times or are just curious to look in.

We usually hold services on the first and third Sunday of each month, and we often have other events and activities happening too. Times can occasionally change, so please check the What’s On page or our website www.st-veep.co.uk for the most up‑to‑date information.

Whether you come for a quiet moment, to meet others, or to explore faith, you’ll find a warm welcome waiting for you.

Safeguarding

"Our parish of St Veep is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Truro’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO [David Vipond] or the Head of Safeguarding [Andy Earle-01872 247212] or [email protected] . If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
