About Us

Welcome to the parish church of Jacobstow in the Anglican Diocese of Truro and county of Cornwall England. It is part of the Boscastle and Tintagel Group of Churches, and is also part of the Southern Cluster of Churches in the Deanery of Stratton.

This Church is dedicated to St James. and lies about a mile off the busy A39 at Wainhouse Corner, midway between Bude and Camelford. It is an idyllic setting for the parish church, a wooded hollow formed by two streams; the sycamore, copper beech and willow that enclose the churchyard on three sides form a mgnificent backdrop to the 15th century church with its impressive tower.
