We are seeking to be a church together in the Boscastle Group of Churches, meaning we have Benefice services all together each Sunday morning at 10:30. Some weeks we also have an afternoon service at 3pm.
Whether you are a long-term resident, new to the area, or on holiday, an established member of the church, or just exploring faith, we would love for you to join us at any of our services.
No services are currently being held at Treneglos church. Repairs to the building have had to be put on hold for lack of funds to complete work on the nave roof, and the building is presently closed to the public for safety concerns.
A viable role for the building to play in the community has still to be found, without which it is unlikely that funds will be forthcoming. The PCC of the parish of Jacobstow with Warbstow and Treneglos has therefore asked the diocese to explore closure.
A recent public meeting has raised the possibility of an effort being made to keep the church open.
