Sung Eucharist, at 10.30am, at All Saints’ Church, Peppard.
A Benefice Eucharist (with foot washing), marking the night of the Last Supper, at 7pm.
This ecumenical event, with hymns, prayers and readings, will start (and finish),in the car park of Christ the King Church, Sonning Common, at 10am. Hot cross buns and coffee afterwards!. All welcome.
At All Saints’ Church, Peppard,on Good Friday at 2pm, there is a special service of prayer and reflection, together with readings, and relevant hymns for all to sing.
On Holy Saturday (Easter Eve), 4 April, there will be a Vigil and First Eucharist of Easter at Christ the King, starting at 9.00pm. This service marks the climax of the Christian year and it is moving, beautiful, and powerful. We will begin outside and take the new Easter candle into the dark church, where we will listen to a set of readings from the Old Testament, after which we will celebrate the first Eucharist of Easter with much joy.
A Sung Eucharist to mark the Feast of the Resurrection of Christ, the oldest and greatest feast of the Christian Church.
