Welcome to the parish church of South Hill: St Sampson, in the Diocese of Truro and county of Cornwall, England.
We meet in our beautiful small medieval church, St Sampson's, and services are held every Sunday. Do come and join us.
The church is always open during daylight hours. Please read and follow the Covid19 safety precautions when visiting. If you require prayer please contact our Rector, Rev Dr Joe Lannon, [email protected] or [email protected]
Details of live streamed services and other ways to worship are on our main website callington.churchinsight.com or on the Church of England website https://www.churchofengland.org
Hand sanitizer is available when entering. The wearing of masks is optional although many of our congregation do continue to wear masks. There are chairs at the back of the church which are set aside for those who prefer to be socially distanced during services, or the South aisle is less crowded. If you would like further information about our precautions or have any concerns about attending a service, please speak to one of the churchwardens or email [email protected]
The parish of South Hill is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Truro’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
