We are a family of ordinary people, brought together by the conviction that the living God has revealed himself in Jesus Christ, and still speaks to us today through the Bible.

We warmly welcome all those who wish to investigate Christianity and those who want to know how to keep on following Jesus.

We long to serve the people of Barkham and the wider area.

We are an evangelical church.

Christmas is a time that those who have been bereaved can find very hard. This service at Barkham Church provides an opportunity to remember those we have lost and to hear a message of comfort from the Scriptures.

Safeguarding

The parish of Barkham is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Oxford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
