The Newfound Community Orchard in Cringleford Heights was formally opened on 3 May. Revd Graham Wilkins commented, 'It was lovely to be with members of the community in this place which will be a blessing to Cringleford for decades to come.' Continuing an annual tradition of hospitality, St Peter's hosted pilgrims in Holy Week. The pilgrims were on a 120 mile journey from Oxford to Walsingham, organised by Pilgrim Cross. While in Norwich, they visited the city's two cathedrals. Cringleford Primary School has helped to launch a new scheme for a Norfolk-based charity, Nelson's Journey, that supports children and young people through bereavement. The scheme aims to raise awareness of grief in school. Our local church school became the first 'School Friend of Nelson's Journey' following the death of a pupil in 2023. The scheme recognises schools that provide safe spaces for bereaved children, in addition to activities and staff training. Revd Graham WIlkins, Rector of Cringleford, said, 'We know that sometimes things can be really tough and we all need a little help in the most difficult of times.
