St. George's Church remains open for a Parish Mass every Sunday at 11.00am.All Sunday Services this winter are taking place in our main church building. Three years we ago we only had a congregation of around half a dozen people. During winter we moved into a small chapel to save on heating and also because only half of our church heaters are in working order. During the last 2 years our congregation has increased in size and we are now too many in number to move into the small chapel. Therefore wear warm clothes on cold days. The heaters will take the chill off but will not heat the building to a warm level if the temperature outside is very cold. Our congregation has more than doubled in size and we are now averaging between 12 and 15. Please consider joining us. Perhaps we can get above 20 people on a regular basis.Tea/coffee served after the service on Sunday and Tuesday. There is also a quiet Said Mass 10.30am on 2nd Tuesday of each month.Services for Festivals, Holy Days and Saints Days as announced. All are welcome at any of our services.A big thank you to our retired clergy Fr Alan Haydock and Bishop Roger Jupp.
