About Us

St. Remigius' Church is always open during daylight hours for visitors and for those looking for peace and quiet for prayer. A guide book is available. Refreshments are available after morning services and we cater for a wide variety of churchmanship.

There is a thriving robed choir, which sings on most Sundays and at weddings and funerals etc.

On the first Sunday of the month we have a Family Communion, a less formal service with a mix of modern and traditional hymns.

On the second Sunday we have a Parish Communion Service with hymns.

On the third Sunday there is a service of Morning Prayer in the church, a traditional service with hymns, psalm and anthem sung by the choir.

On the fourth Sunday we have a Family Service , a less formal service with a mix of modern and traditional worship songs accompanied by a small band of musicians

On fifth Sundays we sometimes host a Benefice Communion Service. Sometimes the Benefice Service is held in Great Melton or Little Melton churches. There is no service at St Remigius when there is a benefice Service elsewhere.
