Great Melton Church: All Saints
Welcome to Great Melton Church - A small, village church with a mighty vision
Great Melton Church is located in rural South Norfolk. It was originally founded in the 15th century and has an abundance of history. 500 years on, we are in the process of developing our rural church so we are able to meet the needs of the community.
In Norman times there were two churches on this site, St Mary's and All Saints and the parish boundary passed between the two churches. The churches were consolidated in the 18th Century and the current church of All Saints features items restored from the original St Mary's church. The ruined tower of St Mary's still stands in the churchyard and both All Saints Church and the ruined tower of St Mary are listed as Grade 11*
All Saints Church is open from 9.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day - visitors are very welcome to come and enjoy our lovely church, the peace and quiet of the churchyard and meet our church cat Molly!
Come and join us in our mission to equip our Church so that it can be a place to gather, share and learn.
