Statement of Inclusivity

We are proud to be an Inclusive Church.

At our Anuual Parochial Church Council AGM in April 2014, we unanimously agreed the following Statement of Inclusivity.

South Creake Parochial Church Council, which has the care of the churches of Our Lady Saint Mary South Creake and All Saints Waterden, fully supports and accepts the ordination of both men and women as deacons, priests and bishops in the Church of England and in the wider Anglican Communion. We welcome everyone to the family of our churches regardless of their age, physical ability, ethnicity, gender, or sexuality.

Inclusive Church

The Churches of Our Lady Saint Mary South Creake and All Saints Waterden are proud to be members of Inclusive Church.

Inclusive Church is a group of Christians uniting together around the following statement of belief: "We believe in inclusive Church - church which does not discriminate, on any level, on grounds of economic power, gender, mental health, physical ability, race or sexuality. We believe in Church which welcomes and serves all people in the name of Jesus Christ; which is scripturally faithful; which seeks to proclaim the Gospel afresh for each generation; and which, in the power of the Holy Spirit, allows all people to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Jesus Christ."
