St Peter's Church, Bucknell, is open during the daytime (9.00 till 17.00) for quiet prayer from Ascension to Pentecost beginning with a 7.30am service on Ascension Day. Prayer resources and drinking water available. NB There are no facilities in church.

On 16 May we're taking part in War Graves Week, hosted by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. There's an exhibition in church telling the stories of the brave men who are laid to rest in St Laurence's Churchyard, a guided talk at 11.30 and 15.00 (tickets are required for the talk) and refreshments with homemade cakes. We finish the day with a short service of Thanksgiving & Commemoration at 5pm

Our regular 4th Sunday Outdoor service returns and will run (weather permitting) until the end of October. Garden environment, craft activities as part of the service and refreshments with homemade cakes afterwards. Please remember to bring an outdoor chair with you.

Our annual Plant Sale & Cream Teas event is on May 30th. All cakes and scones are homemade, and our plants come from local growers. There's a bottle tombola as well as games for the children & young at heart... hook a duck is definitely being mentioned! Please do come along to support our main fundraising activity for the church

All age Eucharist service on the second Sunday of each month. Refreshments with cakes served afterwards & there's craft bags for children to do during the service or to take home.
