A weekly support group for people who have experienced a bereavement.

An opportunity to meet and pray together for personal , local, national and international issues.
Prayers may be shared with the group or silent.
This event is held in the church centre and breakfast is provided.
St Mary's Monthly Flower Club

A monthly meeting for anyone who enjoys learning about how to make beautiful flower arrangements.
There is a demonstration given and Flower Club members make an arrangement based on the theme chosen for the month.
Fundraising Concert - Tedesca String Quartet

Newbury
St Mary's are delighted to welcome back the Tedesca String Quartet who will be performing for the 4th time at St Mary's as part of their current concert season.
They will be playing pieces by Mendelssohn, Mozart and Brahms and will be joined for this concert by Rose Redgrave playing viola and Anna Joubert playing cello.

Concert proceeds will support St Mary's and Action Through Enterprise in Ghana.
Rose Redgrave performs regularly with The Kings Consort, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, Musica Saeculorum in Italy, Music Theatre Wales, Scottish Ensemble, Adderbury Ensemble and Psappha. A committed teacher, Rose teaches at Birmingham Conservatoire and has recently given classes, judged the viola prize and been external examiner at the Royal Academy of Music.
Anna Joubert studied at Birmingham Conservatoire and the Royal Academy of Music with the late Dougie Cummings, then the charismatic Principal Cellist in the London Symphony Orchestra. Anna has a varied and busy freelance career with many orchestras and ensembles, from the English Symphony Orchestra to the Royal Ballet Sinfonia. Interesting events in her career include a coast-to-coast tour of the USA with Yehudi Menuhin, plus numerous TV and radio recordings, including the BBC’s The Archers signature tune.
