Lent Course 2021 on Zoom
We are looking forward to our weekly Lent Course starting on Tuesday 23rd February and then each Tuesday evening, finishing on 30th March.
The course will be run by Rev. Raymond Obin.
For the Lent Course, we will be gathering on Zoom from 7:45pm aiming to start at 8pm, and will finish at 9pm followed by 15 minutes to chat or ask questions.
Please contact the Church Office (See the Get In Touch section) for Zoom details.
You may find it useful to have a Bible to hand, but there’s nothing else you need to have or bring to each evening.
The material for the Lent Course, which you may want to take a look at before the first meeting, is available here http://obin.org.uk/LearningToThrive.
You’ll find there an introduction, an outline of our 6 evenings together, a Lent Reading Plan, and some files you can download.
If you would like to follow the reading plan, it will take you through the whole of Mark’s Gospel during Lent.
Following the reading plan is optional but, as we are looking at a small section of Mark’s Gospel, it would be a good background during Lent if we read it together.
The reading plan starts on Ash Wednesday and runs through until Easter Sunday.
The documents on the downloads page are the same as the website, but you may prefer to have it in printable form rather than looking at it on the screen.
You are all in our prayers as we prepare to journey through Lent together towards Easter.
