25th Aniversary

Occurring
for 2 hours
Venue
St Philip's Church Leicester
Address
Evington Road Leicester, LE2 1HN, United Kingdom

25 years ago the church re-opened following the devastating fire in 1996.

This service, in which we will be joined by our friends from St Peter's, celebrates the foresight and work of those who did not loose faith but stoically set about rebuilding the church.

We start at 11am, and that means we can stay for lunch afterwards which will be served in the hall.

Everyone is welcome.

St Philip's Church Leicester

Welcome to St Philip's Church Leicester.

We are a small but thriving church on Evington Road, about one mile from Leicester City Centre. We worship most Sundays at 9.30, host a popular pre-school, support work for the homeless, encourage education and support music and the arts. We are a member of INCLUSIVE CHURCH and seek to celebrate and affirm every person without discrimination.

If you would like to book our Community Hall, please call us on 0116 273 5313.

We are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Leicester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
