St George's day was the evening for confirmations by Bishop Dagmar at St Peter and St Paul's church, Wisbech. 

Many of St Peter's church, Upwell were there to support our choir member Paul Tucker at his confirmation, along with members of other local churches.

The theme of St George was captured in the delightful service, if a little chilly, with hymns and amusing sermon given by Bishop Dagmar.  Communion was available for all of the congregation should they wish to partake.

After the service there was time for a photo shoot and refreshments.
