About Us

We are your local church in the heart of Lenton. People have been praying, worshipping and figuring our what it means to follow Jesus in Lenton for centuries and HT has been part of that story for a while. Our vision is to be a hopeful presence in our community, a place where you can come home and become a whole-life follower of Jesus. Whether you're a student in Lenton, have lived here for many years, are exploring faith, or just looking for a place you can call home, we'd love you to be part of seeing that vision come to fruition in Lenton.

We are a growing community of students, young adults, young families & professionals. We have a more traditional service, a family service and a more stripped back evening service. Our services include hymns & contemporary worship songs, prayer, a Bible talk, and a chance for response and prayer ministry, listening to what God might be saying to us as individuals and as a community.

We also run regular Alpha and discipleship courses, a weekly baby & toddler group, a weekly wellbeing cafe and regular student and community events. We also have a midweek communion service, on the last Thursday of the month.
