Church of England Diocese of Oxford Woodstock

St Mary Magdalene Church

A lively Christian community with a core congregation of around 160 people, and a roll of 200. A variety of Sunday services, study groups, daily prayers, Children's Church, schools ministry, men's and women's breakfasts, pilgrimages and social events are all part of a lively mix. We are an inclusive church, immensely friendly, and welcome people of all ages, colours, creeds, and lifestyles.

A major re-ordering of our building has just been completed - come and see! And look out for our new services and events for young families, children and teenagers starting in 2018.

We have a full programme of worship, mission and ministry - and we are a popular venue for concerts, events and exhibitions. Details of all that we are doing can be found at www.woodstockandbladon.com

The parish of Woodstock is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Oxford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
