You may not be aware but St. Faith’s is registered as a Place of Welcome, and is part of the Warm Welcome Spaces campaign.
Revd Kyla Sorensen, Rector of St. Faith’s says: “We want everyone to find a place of belonging and reconnection at our Warm Welcome Space this wintertime. Gathering together over a cuppa is the perfect opportunity to make new friends and connect with community.”
Places of Welcome and Warm Welcome Spaces are inclusive, accessible and welcoming to everyone. St. Faith’s is committed to deepening relationships in the local community and providing a safe, inclusive welcome to all.
“Whether it’s our monthly coffee mornings, Connect Café every Wednesday, lunch club, craft group, Faith in Community Mental Health drop-in sessions or other group or event, we look forward to welcoming anyone who comes through the door,” says Revd Kyla
For more information on what’s on and how you can join in, see the what’s on and events pages.
Places of Welcome are run by local community groups who want everyone in their neighbourhood to have a place to go for a friendly face, a cup of tea and a conversation if and when they need it.
